Phnom Penh: On Monday, 1st February 2021, the Faculty of Forestry Science of the Royal University of Agriculture in collaboration with the ASPIRE Secretariat organized a training workshop on “Data Collection & Entry into Management Information System (MIS) & Monitoring & Evaluation” at the Royal University of Agriculture. This training is organized by the project of Scaling-up Climate Resilient Agriculture (SUCRA) under the sub-component 3.2 of MAFFs’ Agriculture Services Programme for Innovations, Resilience and Extension (ASPIRE) funded by IFAD. The objectives were to strengthen the capacity of the farmer facilitators in the target provinces (Kampong Chhanag and Pursat) focused on the data collection of 1500 SUCRA’s farmers for MIS system of ASPIRE. The training was attended by relevant institutions, including the ASPIRE Secretariat, SUCRA team of the Royal University of Agriculture, Provincial Coordinators, farmer facilitators in both provinces. As a result, all participants had the capacity of facilitating farmers in the target provinces, and the two provincial coordinators absorbed knowledge on data entry and management for future data plans and activities.
